Park Jin Young, more familiarly known to our readers as JYP, is releasing an album in December. This is his first return in nearly two years as an artist.

It has been confirmed that the well-known artist will hold a tour named "Bad Party - Heartless, love doesn't exist anymore" right after releasing a new album. Back in November 2007, he had released a new album called Back to stage and toured four major cities in Korea. Just as he did with that album, JY Park is expected to hold a short but intense promotion.



When he finished up his 7th album promotion, he had promised that he would not come back until a Korean name got on the Billboard chart. With the Wonder Girls' recent achievement, he has fulfilled that promise and is now able to return to Korea for a new album. It is not decided yet whether it will be a full album or a mini album, but details will be released in early December.

A preview of Kara member Nicole's reality show KAIST Season 3 has just been released. Delayed for a week, but judging from the clip, it should be worth the wait!

Interestingly enough, it's also been revealed that Nicole was first in her class - she's not just adorable but also a brainiac.

The main character for Mnet's 'Kaist season 3', Nicole was noted for her intelligence when she ranked first in her middle school in America.

After graduating from the middle school in America, she returned to perform as an entertainer in Korea, and is currently being home schooled to meet the necessary requirements.

Her mothers thoughts on Nicole's casting on 'Kaist Season 3' were "It's nice to be successful as an celebrity, but I also have big hopes for our smart Nicole to continue school"

Currently Nicole has given interviews for 4 colleges, including Seoul K college. She was disqualified from her 1st interview, and is currently awaiting results for her 2nd interview. After Nicole was shocked from finding out she was disqualified from her 1st interview, she has lost her usual liveliness and is currently in a state of depression.

However, because Nicole has always had piety for her mother, she has decided to set up her study plan and gained a burning desire to study and is quietly getting her mind ready. Nicole's interview results is planned to be announced next week.

The viewers are wondering which campus life in which college Nicole will attend.

The first broadcast will be on November 12.

The Brown Eyed Girls may have already ended their Abracadabra promotions and started with performing their follow-up song, Sign from this week.

But the song was revived once more on our tv screens as the Brown Eyed Girls performed their hit song at the 46th Daejong Film Awards ceremony on 6th November. This was their second live performance of the night having performed hours earlier on Music Bank.

There wasn't much to gripe about their performance which was slightly modified to suit the open stage and enviroment. At one point, Miryo walked down the stage as she rapped at close length to stars sitting near the stage.

But there was an unfortunate incident (happens at 2:33) when Miryo stumbled while walking back up the steps. But it was all fine as Narsha and the other girls laughed it off as they finished off with a flourish.

The 2009 MAMA (Mnet Asia Music Awards) have been plagued with bad news from the very beginning and here's some more.

Along with the two trot singers and SM Entertainment boycotting the MAMA's, Pledis Entertainment and their stars After School and Son Dambi have announced that they will not be attending the award show as well.

Pledis Entertainment stated:


"Because of Son Dambi's concert in LA, she will be abroad. After School is currently finishing up preparations for their next album to be released towards the end of November, therefore it will be difficult to attend."


Although Pledis is not boycotting, their stars won't be able to attend and quite frankly, it seems they don't believe the MAMA's are very significant anyway

The photoshoot was done in a Kangnam studio with the theme of "I am Maetel in 2009!", where Maetel is a character from the anime, Galaxy Express 999.

As you can see from the photos, Choi Jung Won replicates the anime's character look with the luxurious outfits and signature furry hat.

A few days ago, we reported that teenage singer IU would be coming back with her second mini-album as she released her new image photos. Well, we've got some more info on her album!

The young girl's second mini-album is titled IU...IM, a title chosen because IU's emotions, thoughts and feelings will be expressed through music. The title-song is called Marshmallow and is produced and composed by Kim Do Hoon, Park Soo Jong and Chae Gap Won; the latter also wrote the lyrics. The title-song is anticipated to reveal the teenager's feelings towards love like a squishy, sweet marshmallow.

IU's album will also contain other songs such as Love Attack, which expresses a confident girl's honest feelings toward emotions, Riding the Guitar, which reveals IU's matured vocal combined with a magnificent orchestra, Morning Tears, which has a fantasy feeling, and Dugeun Dougeun Date - which expresses the feelings of a girl's first dating experience.

IU's agency Loen Entertainment stated, "In this album, everyone can feel IU's possibilities of a great future. Everyone will fall in love with the pure emotions she is expressing through her activities."

No, we're not Shanghai-ing you guys: It has been officially announced by J.Tune Entertainment that Rain is heading back to the stage in the States for a solo concert, after the Asia Tour that he had over the summer. And it's about time, I'd say, since it's been three years since his last solo concert in the States.

J.Tune Entertainment stated:


"The solo concert is scheduled to be held on December 24th and 25th at the Caesar's Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, in the Colosseum. It's not 100% confirmed since the contract between us and the venue has not been signed yet, but we're doing the best we can not to change the date."


They also added:

"Rain will focus on promoting his movie Ninja Assassin for this month, but will start training vigorously for his concert in December."


A little heat in the midst of winter? Ooh, I like.

At any rate, Rain's current priority is promoting his soon-to-be-released movie, "Ninja Assassin," which is his second Hollywood movie project, but his first as the main lead. The Hollywood premiere for this much-anticipated film is set to be on the 19th and the movie is set to be released on the 25th.
