Singer Kim Tae Woo, who is currently promoting his title song Love Rain from his 2nd album T-Virus, will be featured in the OST for the drama IRIS!

His song is titled Dreaming Dream (꿈을 꾸다) and will be released on November 11 through the drama and music portal sites. Dreaming Dream is composed by Lee Hyun Seung, who composed the past two songs Love Of Iris and Do Not Forget from IRIS. Kim Tae Woo's song will be used as the theme song for character Kim Hyun Joon, played by actor Lee Byung Hun. Unlike the other IRIS OST tracks, this song will not be a love song and will portray an atmosphere of betrayal that goes along with the problems Kim Hyun Joon has to face.

This track will be the 4th off of IRIS, following the recent track Love Is So... from December.

The three members of TVXQ who have taken legal action against SM Entertainment are planning to work by themselves, according to their legal counsel.

When Sports Seoul asked the three members' legal counsel about SME demanding the three members to make a decision by the 12th, they were told:


"The three members are taking a break at the moment and are planning new projects. We do not plan on responding to SME's press conference. SME was ordered by the court to submit relevant evidences and they have been ignoring this order for almost 3 months now and they also have not been following any other court orders. Conversations with SME will start when they start respecting the court's decision. The court said that the three members may work on their own, so we do not need SME's permission on that. We are also seriously considering making criminal accusations against SME."


The three members are now planning their own projects separate from that of the five-member TVXQ and in no way related to SME. They also do not intend on responding to SME's demand for an answer by the 12th. So what will be of TVXQ's future? Stay tuned to allkpop as the TVXQ dispute has just taken a turn for the worse

2NE1's leader CL posted on her me2DAY how much she wants to win Best New Artist at the MAMA's (Mnet Asian Music Awards).

She posted a picture of herself and Dara and wrote a message saying, "1121 U KNO WHAT DAY THAT IS." November 21st is the day that MAMA will be held on.

I was just as excited as CL until everyone trot singers, SM Entertainment, and Pledis Entertainment decided to not go.

You can actually go vote for the Best New Artist on Mnet's website. Unfortunately for CL, f(x) is in the lead, but then again they aren't attending so does that mean 2NE1 who is in 2nd place will win the award?

In somewhat related news, Dara posted some new pictures on her me2DAY as well. What a surprise! The selca queen uploaded pictures of herself playing by herself on the streets with some leaves.

On the upcoming episode of MBC's Golden Fishery set to air on the 11th, JYP carefully brought up Jaebeom and hinted about his return to 2PM.

JYP Entertainment stated:


"We slightly touched upon Jaebeom's possible return, JYP's statement can be considered another step in that direction. But it is not set in stone. However, this should at least answer fans' confusion and clear up the situation a bit."


Although the details of the full episode have not been revealed yet, it is hinting at the fact that JYP is actively pursuing and anticipating Jaebeom's return. Melon.com, a popular online music website in Korea, has announced that it will be hosting a year-end music award ceremony.

The name of the ceremony is 2009 Melon Music Awards, and it will be hosted on December 16th. Melon, music distributor LOEN entertainment and cable TV company CU Media will be collaborating on this event. Melon expressed, "The 2009 Melon Music Awards will be focused on digital music sales and will be fair because sales is based purely on choice of the consumers and nobody else. We have planned this event as an alternative to traditional award ceremonies." The emphasis on fairness appears to be targeted towards Mnet's MAMA which has seen quite a number of artists shy away from it due to its questionable integrity.

Candidates of each award will be selected from songs released between the October 31 and November 1, and will be based on number of times that song has been played (30%), downloaded (50%) and other usage (20%). Combination of those factors amount to 80% and the rest are decided by user poll which starts on December 10th. There is a total of fifteen awards including Top 10, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, OST of the Year, and The Most Popular Artist.

No information regarding participation of artists has been released so far, but since Melon is one of the biggest names in digital music industry, popular artists are expected to make appearance. Stay tuned to allkpop as details of this new award ceremony comes out.

It's hard to believe that f(x) debuted only a few months ago, since they've come so far... from LA cHA TA to Chu~♡, these young ladies are enchanting new fans by the day. People are still getting adjusted to comeback hit Chu~♡, but the girls aren't stopping there - the girls' first mini-album was just released online and we're already loving it!
