Younha, the beautiful and talented singer dubbed "The Oricon Comet" for her chart topping hits in Japan recently released the PV/MV for her upcoming single 好きなんだ / Sukinanda. Sukinada, which means I Like You will be her 10th Japanese single and is scheduled to be released on November 18th. The single was produced by GReeeeN's producer JIN.

The MV doesn't really have a storyline, it shows her with a guitar and phone in various different scenes in Japan. It's a very pretty song and MV, check it out below and thanks to TYPICALpocky for the tip.

Fans were able to get a sneak peak of the ladies' choreography for the performance with the release of their MV for their comeback single His Voice. Artists always give a different feel for their songs whenever they perform live for all to see and SeeYa is definitely no exception. Big Bang was featured on their website as a Korean band that is currently trying to make it into the Japanese music scene. The article is titled, "How to Crack Japan: The Big Bang Theory." How perfect is that? The story talked about how famous kpop stars set their sights on the Japanese market and that out of all the Korean bands that want to make it in Japan, TIME magazine called Big Bang the "most promising."

The author doesn't cease with the compliments towards the quintet group as they go on about the group's "fluid raps and great vocal harmonies" and unique style of hip-hop music.

It seems as though everyone can agree that Big Bang has what it takes to be able to get attention in America. After getting in a big name magazine like TIME, which is a big deal for international artists, the boys just keep on proving themselves capable.

10Asia & Movieweek got together with the hot series' gender-swapping pseudo-boy Park Shin Hye (Goong S, Stairway to Heaven) to check out the girl behind, well, the boy.

According to Park, filming for the popular series has been going smoothly and has given her some new friends along the way. "[Being the only girl on a set full of guys] wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I have an older brother at home and my cousins are mostly guys so all my memories from my childhood are of me playing soccer, basketball or Tetris with them. I think that’s why I have a lot of guy friends at school too.

What exactly are those boys like on set? "Both Jang and Park are quite friendly and Lee was a little shy at first but everyone soon became surprised at how quickly we became friends. He says he’s not even worried about being misunderstood as dating me even if we went on a trip together! It’s sort of sad in a way," she laughed. Furthermore, Park also worked with Jang in the past in a TV commercial, so they have great chemistry on set. "I guess we do work together pretty well," the actress remarked. "When he throws lines at me which weren’t in the script, I’ll throw lines back at him and our acting will keep flowing. I think he knows how I’ll respond to what he does."

Recently, the series has also garnered attention from kpop fans for the characters' rendition of songs by SNSD, 2NE1 and more. "If you look at it closely, you’ll notice that the choreography is wrong in parts," Park laughed, then couldn't help but add, "by the way, I did Jung Yong-hwa’s make-up for “Genie” as well as mine. I thought the guys wouldn’t put on make-up but Jang Keun-suk and Lee Hong-ki were so I told Yong-hwa that I would turn him into Tiffany and used pink eye shadow on him. Everyone looked so pretty!"

With experiences like those on set, it's undeniable that many girls (& guys) would kill to switch places with her. However, Park has expressed gratitude and pleasant surprise to the support she's been getting. "I was recently in Gapyeong for a shoot in front of a high school and ... I heard several hundreds of girls scream at me. And they were shouting “Mi-nam oppa!” They weren’t calling me “Shin-hye unni!”," Park laughed. She then added, "Oh, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have any more guy fans. I was once shooting in downtown Seoul when businessmen in suits recognized me and said I was cute which made me feel good." Talk about getting fans from all backgrounds!

Park Shin Hye's got a growing a fanbase not only from her character in You're Beautiful but also her roles in Goong S, Kimchee Radish Cubes and Stairway to Heaven. Furthermore, she's been in the spotlight for her ongoing studies at Joongang University, known to school big-name actors like Kim So-Eun, Kim Bum and Go Ara. Despite her fame, she concentrates on her exams, reports and casual hobbies like ballet, swimming and learning Chinese. It's great to see that such a talented young woman is so well-grounded as well!

Yenny of the Wonder Girls is known to update her Twitter pretty often and today the 140 characters limit was not enough for her.

She was the first to write a blog on www.wondergirlsworld.com to share her experience in China to her fans.

hi, guys~ how have u been?

i was writing on twitter, as you know there is a limit so i couldn’t write down everything i wanted to say at once, and soon i realized that i had my own blog here to talk to you guys !!

i just got back from china, had a great time there! we felt warm and comfortable since this was the 4th time we’ve visited beijing , regardless of the fact that we’ve forgotten lots of chinese words & expressions.. T.T

but surpringly, we could remember pretty lots of words involved in food, like “Xi gua zhe(watermelon juice)” , “kao ya(duck, the most famous dish in beijing)” etc. we considered that it’s because of human’s instinct to survive… haha

BTW, have you decided what to wear for halloween?! it will be awesome if you guys upload halloween pik for me who is going to miss it crying and being depressed the entire day.. :( haha.. i’m fine.. i will be fine… T.T

In a recording for KBS2TV's Shin Dong Yup and Shin Bong Seon's Champagne, former g.o.d member and actor Yoon Kye Sang had confessed about his liking for SNSD's Taeyeon. During the popular 'Ideal Type World Cup' segment where the male guest had to choose between 32 female stars, Yoon Kye Sang had revealed that Taeyeon was his ideal girl.

Yoon Kye Sang said, "I like Taeyeon the most because she is pretty and sings very well. I listen to Taeyeon's radio show, Chin Chin every day without fail now."

This episode will be shown on 31st October.

Having learnt that her Touch Me music video had been banned from airing freely on television, Ivy who has just made her comeback after a two year absence, has announced that she would be ditching her sexy dress concept for her performances.

When Ivy made her comeback on the 29th October episode of M! Countdown, Ivy wore a black tight fitting outfit (top right) when she was performing her sexy number, Touch Me. But when she was performing at her showcase a day earlier, Ivy had wore a sexy dress (top left).





The sexy dress had been chosen partly because it complemented the dance choreography or so they thought. But because of the sharp movements of the dance routine, it was near impossible to wear the dress anymore as Ivy was pictured on many occasions with her safety pants sticking out pretty conspicuously.




Associates close to Ivy had told her after the showcase, "It seems like you are revealing yourself too much with the mini dress."



Ivy said, "The dress that I wore for the showcase was the same as in the MV. I was getting pretty flustered as the dress kept moving up when I turned sharply or jumped during my dance routine. We will now stick to pants for now."

As for her feelings on returning after a long absence, Ivy said, "I am nervous, just like when I first debuted. I ate some pills before the showcase, but it didn't quite work."

Ivy will be performing next on Inkigayo on 1st November.

The three tallest girls of SNSD had been chosen to model for QTV's Photographer Audition Survival show called, "Photographer". Their photoshoot would be used for the "Dreaming Water" campaign pictorial which was a joint collaboration by UNICEF and Cosmopolitan, with the theme of clean water and environmental conservation.

The episode was finally aired on the 29th and we now bring you the pictures (which made the final cut) and videos of the 3 girls. Enjoy!

On the 25th, Min Hyo Rin uploaded pictures of her linking arms with Japanese actress, Yoomin (Yuko Fueki). Yoomin is currently part of the hit drama Iris.

Along with her pictures, her caption read, "I went to Japan and met Yoomin unnie. We shopped, ate delicious food, and talked… Yoo Min unnie is so kind-hearted and pretty, and we also think alike." It was evident that she adores her Yoomin unnie and her love showed through another caption that read, "With the very very pretty Yoomin unnie..."

Along with a picture of her and a random Japanese woman dressed up in a costume, she captioned, "Wow, that was interesting."

Its been quite some time since new girl groups JQT and Secret shared the same stage, but today's Music Bank marked round two of the battle of the girl groups!

This will also be JQT's second televised performance in comparison to Secret's several performances to date. Can JQT prove that it's about quality not quantity? Or will Secret show JQT a thing or two about owning the stage

Yoo Soyoung's lawyers stated on the 29th:

"Soyoung's health has deteriorated due to her activities as a celebrity, therefore she will be quitting the group and fully focusing on her education."

The decision was apparently made by Soyoung while she was on a break recently. They will now discuss and settle all legal issues with Pledis Entertainment.

Soyoung stated through her lawyers:

"Thank you for all of the love and support during my activities as a celebrity. In the future I would like to greet you all with a brighter and healthier look."

Pledis Entertainment also apologized and explained that they could not come out with an official announcement earlier due to issues that were not completely settled.

Hopefully this is not the last we will see of Soyoung, but for now, let's all wish her the best of luck. All eyes will now turn to Pledis Entertainment on whether a replacement member will be drafted for the now 5-member group and whether this will affect the originally scheduled mini album release in November .

With the actual song sounding very good already since it's the theme song for a Japanese RPG, that effect was made even better with the release of the PV recently. The MV might look minimalistic and simplistic at first glance but somehow or rather, you get a rather good feeling after watching it. BoA looks really beautiful and mature in this MV too

After making her comeback with a showcase, Ivy continued her promotions with her comeback debut performance on the 29th October episode of M! Countdown.




Much has happened since her last album two years ago, and Ivy has put in great effort for her 3rd album, hoping that she can still cut it on stage. Having cut an exclusive deal with Mnet (they produced her showcase), Ivy gets to perform her duet, I Am... with MC Mong and two of her solo songs, Goodbye Tears and Touch Me in full for her grand comeback tonight. Will she be able to do a Baek Ji Young type of comeback?

According to Newsen, we now have confirmation that the producer had met and shared a meal with Jay and his family on the 29th of September in Seattle.

A representative from JYPE confirmed by saying:

"On his way to New York, Park Jin Young made a quick stop in Seattle and met with Jaebeom and his family. They had a meal together, but what was discussed during their time together is unknown."

When asked about the 6 member 2PM and their future activities, the representative responded by saying that nothing has been decided yet.

So what does this meeting mean? Will Jaebeom return to Korea to resume his leadership or was it just a friendly visit? No one knows for sure, except JYP, Jay, and his family, but it's sure to stir up his fans and the Kpop community.

Solbi started by saying, "It's very tiring facing all these hate messages."

Having faced lots of anti messages since her debut, Solbi would always play along when fellow artistes "makes fun" of her, but this time, there was no smiles but just tears.

Solbi said, "There was one point when a star had just committed suicide because of hate messages. At this moment, a hate message had surfaced on my Cyworld saying 'Why aren't you dead yet?'. I then replied to this by saying 'Will you be happy if I really disappear?'. But that person became angrier by responding 'Why so sensitive, I was just commenting casually.' Solbi replied again 'Please don't leave hateful comments like this again. Because of your casualness, I might just commit suicide.'

At this point, Solbi couldn't control her emotions as she teared.

Columnist and writer, Kim Tae Hoon consoled Solbi by saying, "I was once hurt by hateful messages as well and then I met Bae Chul Soo. He said something that was very interesting and sincere. 'If it's something that you like, continue to do it till the end. Then those hate messages will disappear by themselves.'

With regards to this, many artistes nodded their heads in approval.

Full Audio of Brown Eyed Girls’ “Drunk on Sleep”


Not long after the audio preview of Drunk on Sleep was revealed, the full song from Brown Eyed Girls' upcoming repackaged album "S.I.G.N" has been released.



After a period of time wherein Brown Eyed Girls promoted only upbeat, dance songs such as L.O.V.E, How Come, and, of course, the ever-so-popular Abracadabra, Drunk on Sleep, which is nostalgic of their earlier works, is refreshing to hear among the abuse of autotune in contemporary Korean music. However, if you are like me and have followed Brown Eyed Girls closely since their debut album, the track is definitely nothing new from the talented foursome.

Nevertheless, new and old fans alike will be able to appreciate what Brown Eyed Girls have to offer with the new ballad that flaunts the three vocalist's incredible singing talent, which many may not have recognized before.

Lyn’s latest album is composed of two CDs and each CD has a different title song. She will first start promoting the ballad title song called "The Real Story." This title song was written by composer Lee Hyun-seung, who also wrote such hits as Kim Tae-woo's "Love Rain" and Lee Seung-ki's "Let Us Part," and features Lyn's rich and emotional voice. Her first TV appearance will be on "M Countdown" on the music cable channel MNet on October 29th.
